PROGRAM SUPERVISOR for Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Program. $31.95 – $38.84/Hour. The Contra Costa Health Services Alcohol and Other Drugs Program is seeking an experienced Program Supervisor to direct the day-to-day operations of a state certified outpatient alcohol and drug treatment program serving adults in the West County area. This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of becoming permanent. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory skills as well as knowledge of best practices in alcohol and drug treatment and prevention. The clinic has 6 staff providing treatment services to adults and prevention programs to adolescents. Requirements 1) Knowledge of state program licensing standards. 2)Valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's License. 3)Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in psychology, sociology, counseling or a closely related field. 4)Four (4) years of full-time or its equivalent experience counseling persons in a substance abuse program. 5) Substitution: Either 1) Possession of a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in one of the aforementioned areas may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience; or 2) Additional qualifying experience in a substance abuse program may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two (2) years.
